F4 Function Key
In last post we discussed how “F4” Function Key is useful in to minimize daily work in Excel. Today we will discuss about “F4” Function Key again but with the combinations of other keys.

As all of we know that when we want to close Excel file there are only two ways.

1)      Click on Black Cross button below the Red Cross button when you want to close only Active Workbook but not all Open
Workbooks (for all Workbooks you have to click individually) as defined by Blue line in the as mentioned in the below Picture by Blue line.

2)      Click on Red Cross button at the corner of the window when you want to close all open Excel Workbooks as defined in the Picture by Red line.

F4-FUNCTION KEY FEATURES-2

These both things we can do just with the combinations of two keys from Keyboard only.

1)      If you want to Click on Black Cross button to close only Active Workbook from Keyboard just use, “CTRL+F4”.

2)      If you want Click on Red Cross button to close All open Workbooks from Keyboard just use ALT+F4.

May these techniques to close Workbooks by ALT+F4 or by CTRL+F4 according to your requirements will help you much.
